Perhaps you have read armies of marriage help books already and your marriage is STILL a disaster! Is divorce your ONLY answer? That was what we thought in 1994. We had read SO many books on marriage and things kept getting worse! (Guess what! Most of the Christian Marriage books are fatally flawed. It is not all your fault, nor was it our entire fault, that our marriage was a disaster! You and we did not have the correct knowledge needed to get it fixed!) To make things even more difficult we were both in ministry, and he was pastor of a church. Today, however, we are living a different story! We are living an Outrageously Happy Marriage! Divorce is the farthest thing from our minds. We have written two books, The Man of Her Dreams/The Woman of His! and Book 2: Livin’ It And Lovin’ It!, that teach the dramatic things that God taught us that are helping couples now with EVERY TYPE of marriage dysfunction! 
During the first 10 years of our marriage, my husband and I went through a lot of hardships. The only thing that I knew to do was to rely upon the Word of God as I understood it then and stay in the marriage. (My “standing” did nothing to help the marriage change, but at least we stayed married until God taught us the truth!) Being pastors at our local church, made things even more difficult. I knew that we, as Pastors were supposed to provide an example of a happy marriage and we were often experiencing hell on earth! In 1991, Joel got into adultery. I knew that I would have challenges in life, but this was RIDICULOUS! My husband was the Pastor, he was abusive and now he was in ADULTERY! Arrgghh! Things began to finally turn around in 1994. God began to teach us 14 new paradigms for a successful marriage that we have since lived every day. Ten years later, in 2004, we felt that God instructed us to author the first of these two amazing books! Who would have guessed! We had the worst marriage and now God tells us to write marriage help books.
